A briefing dedicated to the International Forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations the Basis of Peace and Development” was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The event was attended by heads of the country's foreign policy department, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as media representatives.
The briefing discussed the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to study and popularize the literary heritage of the great poet Magtymguly Fragi.
These initiatives are being successfully implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The high representative composition of the forum confirmed the importance of these efforts.
Magtymguly's humanistic views, based on the principles of mutual respect, good neighborliness and trust, underlie Turkmenistan's foreign policy and contribute to strengthening friendship and brotherhood in the world. Independent neutral Turkmenistan actively promotes peace-loving principles and initiatives at the global level, which is recognized by the international community.
