Turkmenistan prepares to participate in the meeting of the International Monetary Fund

The delegation of Turkmenistan has been invited to the next meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where key environmental issues, the concept of “smart city” and investments in medical and agricultural clusters will be discussed. Preparatory work has already begun in accordance with the document signed by the President of Turkmenistan, TDH reports.

At a working meeting with the participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag D.

Orazov said that several areas of activity are planned to be discussed at the IMF meeting, including an investment program, a consultative system and humanitarian support for the city of Arkadag.

The IMF is interested in investing in the new city, especially in its further development and construction of industrial complexes, due to the high environmental friendliness of the urban environment and the use of advanced technologies.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of presenting information at the IMF meeting on the pace of work and the dynamics of reforms in the new city, which are carried out on the basis of modern practices and international standards.
