On the eve of the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers of Turkmenistan, which is annually celebrated on October 10, the country will host numerous celebrations dedicated to the achievements of domestic healthcare, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
The key events will be the traditional International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Era of the Revival of a New Era of a Powerful State”. These events are aimed at familiarizing the world community with the successes of Turkmenistan’s social spheres, establishing international cooperation and exchanging experiences.
The achievements of Turkmen healthcare have been recognized by the world community.The country is actively integrating advanced world experience and innovative technologies, which is confirmed by the high level of equipment of medical centers and health resorts.
In the last few years alone, new high-tech clinics have been opened in Turkmenistan not only in the capital, but also in the regions.
Particular attention is paid to the development of medical centers in the “smart” city of Arkadag, where a powerful medical cluster is being created.Today, more than 3.4 thousand medical specialists work here, many of whom have completed advanced training courses in domestic and foreign scientific and clinical centers.
In the future, Arkadag will become one of the largest healthcare centers in the region.
Over the years of independence, about 100 medical institutions have been built in Turkmenistan, including modern clinics of international level, hospitals, hospitals and health centers. In the coming days, the list of modern medical institutions will be replenished with new clinics.
The International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology and the International Health and Rehabilitation Center will be ceremonially opened in Ashgabat. A modern enterprise for the production of medicines based on licorice root will begin operating in the city of Turkmenabat in the Lebap velayat.
The construction of the International Pediatric Center, the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology and the Dental Center continues in the capital.An additional complex of buildings for 400 people is being built in the Arçman sanatorium.
In the near future, it is planned to build international oncology centers in the Mary, Balkan and Lebap velayats, as well as a Maternal and Child Health Center in the Dashoguz velayat.
