Turkmenistan plans to study the experience of conducting Russian exams Unified State Exam and Basic State Exam

Turkmenistan and Russia discussed prospects for cooperation in conducting unified exams and unified final certification.

This issue was given special attention during the meeting between the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan A. Atayev and the Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Andrey Korneyev, which we reported on earlier.

The possibility of exchanging experience on Russian practices of conducting such exams as the Unified State Exam (USE) for grades 11 and the Basic State Exam (OGE) for grades 9 was considered, according to the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

These exams are key in the Russian system of assessing students' knowledge, providing standardized conditions for completing basic and secondary school and further admission to educational institutions, the source notes.
