A Turkmen delegation participated in the 11th China Central Asia’ Cooperation Forum, held from October 25 to 28, 2024, in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
In his remarks, Counselor of the Turkmen Embassy in China, B. Klychmamedov, highlighted that one of the priority areas of Turkmenistan’s state policy is balanced and environmentally-oriented economic development.
The diplomat also presented Turkmenistan’s environmental initiatives, including the successful integration of digital and green technologies in the construction of the “smart” city Arkadag.
The event brought together regional leaders, representatives of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of Central Asian delegations, diplomats, business associations, universities, and enterprises.
At the conclusion of the forum, the Initiative of the 11th China Central Asia Cooperation Forum’ was announced.
The annual China Central Asia’ Cooperation Forum aims to strengthen connections between China and Central Asian countries. Discussions focus on economic, environmental, and social development, as well as avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, investment, and innovation.
