Turkmenistan Looks to Study Italy’s Experience in Railway, Highway Construction

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Italy Toyly Komekov and with Giovanni Donato, Diplomatic Advisor to Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation of Italy, in a meeting in Rome on Friday discussed the exchange of experience of Turkmen side with the achievements of Italian companies in the construction of high-speed railway lines, highways and high-speed trains.

Ambassador Komekov informed of priority directions of transport infrastructure as the most important factor of successful development of the country, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Italy said in its press release

During the meeting, the Ambassador noted that Turkmenistan, together with foreign partners, has been successfully implementing major infrastructure projects aimed at creating an extensive combined transport system.

At the end of the meeting, the sides confirmed to be in an active dialogue to support further development and deepening of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Italy and exchanged best wishes.
