Turkmenistan issues gold and silver coins for the XV ECO Summit

In honor of the XV Summit of Heads of State of the Organization for Economic Cooperation, which will be held on November 28 in Ashgabat, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan has issued commemorative coins. This was reported in today's Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

Coins in denomination of 100 manat are made of gold and silver 916.7 and 925, respectively.On their front side there is an outline of the globe, and in the center - the ECO symbol.

On the upper part and on both sides there is an inscription: YKDYSADY HYZMATDAŞLYK GURAMASYNA AGZA DÖWLETLERIŇ DÖWLET BAŞTUTANLARYNYŇ 15-NJI DUŞUŞYGY (“XV Summit of Heads of State of the Organization for Economic Cooperation”), and in the lower part of the pattern there are two small coins.

On the reverse, the State Emblem of Turkmenistan is traditionally located in the center, above the Emblem, along the upper edge of the coin, the inscription TÜRKMENISTANYŇ MERKEZI BANKY ("Central Bank of Turkmenistan") is placed in a semicircle.

In the lower part there is an inscription indicating the denomination of the coin - ÝÜZ MANAT (“One hundred manat”), and to the left of it are the fineness and weight of numismatic novelties.

The inscriptions are separated by patterns in the form of octagons.

The gold coin has a diameter of 38,61 mm and weighs 39.94 grams. The weight of a silver coin with the same diameter is 28,28 grams.
