1.Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan agreed on the conclusion of a new agreement on the supply of Turkmen gas to Uzbekistan.The corresponding agreement was reached during the meeting between the Vice Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov and the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Zhurabeka Mirzamakhmudova.
At the negotiations, the parties considered the issues of expanding the partnership, including in the energy sector.The discussed issues are the implementation of previously reached agreements, particularly in the field of energy.
2.Recently, "Belavia" announced the limitation of some additional services from September 1, due to the transition to a new system. "Belavia's" Turkmen office commented that the transition to the new system will take place over several days, until September 3 or 4.
However, this will not affect the sale of air tickets in Turkmenistan, which is due to the peculiarities of the local air ticket purchase system.Thus, passengers planning a trip to Turkmenistan from September 1 can be sure that they will be able to purchase a ticket without any problems.
3.Turkmenistan received the status of the main guest of honor at the International Cultural Expo "Silk Road".The exposition will be held from September 6 to 7 in Dunhuang, Gansu Province, China.
The State Museum of Turkmenistan will coordinate the organization and holding of exhibition events dedicated to the demonstration of culture, art and tourism resources of Turkmenistan.More than 1200 Chinese and foreign guests are expected at the opening of the Expo.
4.Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov met with acting Minister of Energy of Pakistan Muhammad Ali.Muhammad Ali emphasized the vital importance of gas to the economy of Pakistan.
Due to the positive demand for energy, an active approach to such projects as TAPI is necessary, he noted.The minister reaffirmed his commitment to Pakistan to implement the TAPI project.
At the meeting, the parties agreed to hold regular meetings of the working group to review the implementation of the project.
5. Turkmenistan sent more than 35 tons of humanitarian aid to Vladivostok for children affected by the typhoon in Primorye. The cargo included clothes, shoes, bedding, food and other necessary items. Cargo from Ashgabat arrived in Vladivostok on IL-76 plane. The items will be placed at the disposal of specialists for further distribution among the victims.
6.A special commission for the appointment of personal pensions was established in Turkmenistan under the President of the country.President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant Decree "for the purpose of regulation of personal pensions for citizens of Turkmenistan for special services to the country, as well as in accordance with Article 40 of the Code of Turkmenistan on social protection of the population".

7.Kazakh students of higher education institutions will begin to study artificial intelligence - the corresponding course will be implemented in all universities of the country, said Minister of Science and Higher Education RK Nurbek Sayasat.
According to the minister, the teaching of the basics of artificial intelligence will begin in the universities of Kazakhstan from the next school year, and possibly earlier - from January to February 2024.
Basic knowledge of AI should become mandatory for every student in Kazakhstan.
8. Qatar's High Commission for Projects and Heritage has announced plans to recycle 173 tons of advertising materials used during the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Polyester materials previously used as wraps, banners and fences at stadiums and other facilities will be processed into plastic granules by Saudi Top Plastics.

The competition includes two round robin tournaments. 9 participants representing Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan take part in each tournament.
