Turkmenistan is ready to become a place of development and testing of alternative energy technologies

Turkmenistan aspired to intensify cooperation with the International Renewable Energy Agency IRENA, the headquarters of which is located in Masdar city, the UAE.

This issue was discussed during the meeting of the Vice-Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates Suhail Al-Mazrui on the sidelines of the international forum in Avaza.

Turkmenistan expressed its readiness, within the framework of partnership with IRENA, to conduct international scientific conferences and other events, as well as to become a place for the development and testing of alternative energy technologies that can be used in the countries of Central Asia, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
