Turkmenistan is implementing the “Electronic Government” system

At the meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan, the development of the digital economy and national electronic communications systems was discussed.

As reported by the head of the Agency for Transport and Communications, Mammethan Chakyev, advanced IT technologies are being actively introduced in the country and the list of digital services is expanding, TDH reports.

In particular, the Duralga mobile application was launched, as well as the new video hosting Belet Video.

Particular attention is paid to the creation of the Electronic Government system, the introduction of an information exchange system in the X-Road architecture format, which is successfully used in world practice. As reported, the selection of the supplier is currently being carried out jointly with the United Nations Development Program.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that with the modernization of national electronic communications systems, the volume of Internet traffic in the country is constantly increasing. In this regard, it was instructed to continue work to meet the needs of citizens for digital services.
