Turkmenistan is establishing agricultural ties with the Netherlands

The Turkmen delegation, representing the private sector, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture, visited the Netherlands from June 10 to 14 to participate in the largest international exhibition Green Tech Amsterdam 2024.

However, according to the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission, the visit was not limited to exhibition, but opened up new opportunities for expanding cooperation in the agricultural sector.

At Green Tech Amsterdam, Turkmen participants got acquainted with advanced innovations and technologies in the field of agriculture, met with leading market players and discussed partnership prospects.

In addition, a number of meetings were held with key Dutch organizations overseeing business relations, especially in the field of agri-tech and sustainable practices. This permitted the Turkmen side to better understand the business environment of the Netherlands and identify areas for joint projects.

The delegation also visited leading Dutch companies specializing in seeds, greenhouse technologies and water-saving systems.

The culmination of the trip was the Turkmen forum organized by the embassy in Belgium within the framework of Green Tech Amsterdam. The event brought together foreign companies, Turkmen business and international financial institutions to discuss investment opportunities in the country's agricultural sector.
