Turkmenistan Inaugurates Economic Management Department of Military, Law Enforcement Agencies

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty chamber of Turkmen bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh, and Gulshat Mammedova, the Chairperson of the Mejlis chamber of Milli Gengesh, on Saturday attended the opening ceremony of a new complex of buildings of the Economic Management Department of Military and Law Enforcement Agencies under the State Border Service of Turkmenistan.

The head of the Economic Department of the military and law enforcement agencies Chary Amanov briefed on the complex’s facilities and the conditions created in them, as well as familiarized with the arrangement of the dining room and sleeping quarters, the features of related facilities and the types of economic activities carried out by military personnel, the country’s official media reports.

The Economic Management Department produces food products for the military and law enforcement agencies in Turkmenistan, studies methods of growing different agricultural crops, and works to increase their range and expand crop areas.

The heads of the Halk Maslakhaty and Mejlis also visited an exhibition of agricultural and food products produced by the military personnel of the Economic Management Department.

On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, vegetables and fruits grown in the Economic Management Department of the Military and Law Enforcement Agencies under the State Border Service of Turkmenistan were presented to the fosters of the Döwletliler Köşgi Palace, the orphanage.
