Turkmenistan Explores Space Sector Collaboration With Airbus

Hajimurat Hudaygulyyev, the Chairman of the Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency, held discussions on potential collaboration in the space sector during a meeting on Tuesday with an Airbus delegation led by Jacques Garrigues, Vice President for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Airbus has extended an offer to provide Turkmenistan with remote monitoring and space photography services, emphasizing their recognition of Turkmenistan's potential for advanced space technologies, the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan reported on Wednesday.

As reported, engaging with Airbus presents new possibilities for Turkmenistan in the dynamic space sector. Acknowledging the global significance of space industry development, Turkmenistan, having established its reliability as a partner to leading companies, expresses readiness to leverage cutting-edge technologies to advance space research on regional and global scales.
