Residents of Turkmenistan report that it is impossible to pay for the services of Russia’s cellular provider MTS across the country.
“A week ago I used several terminals to refill my MTS account balance.On 20 June out of 20 terminals I visited in order to recharge the account balance, the MTS button was available only in two of them.
However, the button was not working in one of them and error popped out in the second terminal.In other terminals I managed to refill only my “TMCELL” account, a resident of the capital told “Chronicles of Turkmenistan”.
Let us recall that since mid May negotiations between the company’s officials and the Turkmen authorities have been underway to extend the license agreement, which will expire on 1 July.
Our editorial office is receiving unconfirmed reports that a new cellular provider will appear in Turkmenistan. Thus, competition in the mobile provider market of the country will be created.
