Turkmenistan expands computer literacy training for people with disabilities

The Information Access Center at the Innovation and Information Center of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan announced the expansion of the free computer literacy training program for people with disabilities, the center’s press service told Turkmenportal.

In addition to the existing courses for people with hearing impairments, the center has opened a new direction for students with vision problems. Classes are held three times a week for three hours a day, the total duration of the course is 2-3 months.

The training is conducted by an experienced specialist with many years of experience in this field. The classes use specialized technologies, including the Braille sense polaris keyboard for the blind and visually impaired, as well as Hearing assistive aids for people with hearing impairments.
