Turkmenistan entered list of Top-10 countries with lowest gasoline prices

Turkmenistan become one of the ten countries with the lowest gasoline prices. In accordance to the data of the GlobalPetrolPrices, as of December 5, Turkmenistan gets the seventh spot on the list with availability of gasoline with an octane rating of 95. The price of a liter of gasoline in the country is 0.433 US dollars.

In the current position Turkmenistan is the state with cheapest gasoline price in the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The average price of gasoline around the world is 1.30 US Dollar per liter, the cheapest gasoline in the world is in Venezuela is 0.016 US dollars per liter. The Lebanon and Iran also entered the top three 0.031 and 0.053 US dollars correspondingly.

The most expensive gasoline is in Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region of China). There the gasoline price is 2.969 US dollars for a liter of gasoline. In the CAR, a liter of gasoline costs 2.405 US dollars, in Iceland —2.252 US dollars.

Let’s remind that in 2019 in Turkmenistan was opened a giant gas to gasoline plant. One of the advantages of these facility is the possibility to receive a synthetic gasoline ECO-93 which corresponds Euro-5 standard.

Turkmenistan sells its petroleum products through the State Commodity Exchange to the countries of Europe and Central Asia, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region.
