The event on adaptation planning and adaptation financing in Central Asia became an important platform for representatives of the region to discuss measures to combat the effects of climate change and the readiness of Central Asian countries to participate in the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change COP29, which will be held in November in Azerbaijan.
In particular, the development of a common strategy for Central Asia for an informed and structured position for the upcoming COP29 was discussed.
