From December 2 to 20, a delegation from Turkmenistan participates in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) organized by the U.S.State Department.As part of the educational course Management of Higher Education Institutions: Collaboration and Commercialization, representatives from leading Turkmen educational institutions will visit several educational and research institutions in the United States, as reported by official media of Turkmenistan.
The delegation includes representatives from Turkmen State University named after Maghtymguly, the International University of Humanities and Development, the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, and the National Institute of Education.
The official opening of the event took place at the International Institute of Education in Washington.During the meeting, participants learned about the program's content and discussed potential adjustments to the course based on their preferences.
Additionally, Professor Diana Loenthal from American University conducted a briefing on the U.S.federal system, allowing delegates to deepen their understanding of the country's governance structure.
The IVLP program serves as an important tool for exchanging experiences, providing participants with opportunities to build long-term connections and strengthen mutual understanding between countries.
