This year, due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation in the region and the world in the Turkmen capital, new year's children's events at the Main tree of the country were canceled. This was reported on December 2 by the online publication Orient.tm.
According to the publication, the main symbols of new year — Christmas trees will set in front of the entertainment center "Alem" and the building of the chamber of Commerce, however, celebrations for the prevention of infectious diseases and protecting the health of children and adults decided not to.
It is noted that traditionally new year's performances for children at the Main Christmas tree of the country, with the participation of Ayaz Baba (Santa Claus) and Garpamyk (snow Maiden), were held all days of the winter school holidays.
