Companies of Turkmenistan can use Pakistan as a digital gateway for international access. The Federal Minister of Information Technologies and Telecommunications Syed Aminul Haque stated this at a meeting with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atajan Movlamov, reports tribune.com.pk.

The Ambassador of Pakistan stressed the need to establish a joint working group with Turkmenistan to advance the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.

Haque also noted that the establishment of cooperation in this area will contribute to the development of synergy between the technology sectors of Pakistan and Türkiye.

The Pakistan minister believes that trilateral cooperation can be expanded through the use of fiber optic cable through Afghanistan.

“Turkmenistan can use the services of Pakistan experts in the field of software, cybersecurity, data protection, games and animation,” he said.
