Turkmenistan Auctions 43 State-Owned Properties

The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan announced an auction to sell 43 state-owned properties.

The list of state assets available for privatization appeared in the newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan on Friday. The auction will take place on December 13, 2024, on the digital platform for trading state property and through the platform's mobile application.

Among the largest items up for auction are a brick factory located in the village of Hendekli in the Berzen-Danev district of Lebap velayat, covering 3,967 square meters; the Döwrebap shopping and entertainment center (8,800 sq. m); a two-story building in Lebap velayat; and a pipe factory in Dashoguz velayat (6,400 sq. m).

The auction will also feature a variety of service sector properties, including stores, cafes, dining facilities, administrative buildings, and manufacturing sites.

According to established regulations, citizens of Turkmenistan, foreign nationals, and non-state legal entities from Turkmenistan and other countries are eligible to participate in the auction.
