1. The President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree on the celebration of gurban Bayram from June 28 to 30. The document requires “all institutions, enterprises and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership, to ensure the implementation of this Decree”. Days of celebration of Gurban Bayram in Turkmenistan are non-working.
2.On June 29, the opening ceremony of the city of Arkadag will be held.The corresponding Decree was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during an expanded offsite meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The city of Arkadag, in which approximately 70 thousand people will live, is being built on an area of 950 hectares, 30 kilometers southwest of the Turkmen capital.
3.The volume of annual gas supplies through the Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-China pipeline is about 40 billion cubic meters per year.This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengas" Myrat Archayev, speaking at the International Scientific Conference in Ashgabat.
According to Archayev, China is the largest importer of Turkmen natural gas.And in the future, the annual volumes of these supplies will be increased to 65 billion cubic meters.
4.President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the Roadmap for the development of international cooperation aimed at studying the issue of Turkmenistan's accession to the Global Methane Commitment for 2023-2024 and the Action Plan for its implementation.
The Decree instructs the relevant ministries and sectoral departments to ensure the implementation of the measures outlined in the Roadmap and the Action Plan for its implementation.
5.Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Farrukh Khomiddin Sharifzoda is completing his mission in the country.In this regard, he met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.
The Minister expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for his personal contribution to the development of Turkmen-Tajik relations.The parties discussed current issues and prospects for cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan on a wide range of issues of political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

6. Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the first female cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova with the Order of Gagarin on the 60th anniversary of her space flight. According to the Decree, Tereshkova was awarded for outstanding achievements in space exploration, courage and dedication shown during the implementation of the historic manned space flight.
7. Kazakhstan launches direct flights to Israel. From September 7, 2023, Air Astana will operate a flight to Tel Aviv from Almaty twice a week on Airbus 321 aircraft. The opening of a flight with Israel will bring cooperation between the two countries in the tourism, cultural, trade and economic fields to a new level.
