The youth table tennis team of Kazakhstan reached the final of the Central Asian qualifying tournament in Almaty and won a ticket to the Asian Youth Championship. The official website of the NOC of Kazakhstan reported about this.
In Almaty, the teams of Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan fought in subgroups, and then in the semi-finals.
Among the boys, the teams of Iran and Kazakhstan showed a 100% winning result. Today these two teams will play each other for the first place.
The youth teams of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will compete for the third place.
For girls, the first place will be played by Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and the teams of Iran and Kyrgyzstan will hold the match for the third place.
