Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of cybersecurity

The State Cyber Security Service of Turkmenistan under the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency (Turkmensvyaz) and the State Unitary Enterprise Cyber Security Center of Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of cyber security. The document was signed at the first Cyber Security Central Eurasia 2023 conference, which opened today in Tashkent.

In the memorandum, the parties expressed their intention to cooperate in the following areas:

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding is an important step in the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of cybersecurity between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The document will help strengthen the security of information and communication systems and infrastructure of the two countries.

As previously reported, on the sidelines of the forum in Tashkent, a meeting was held between the head of the Turkmenaragatnashyk agency, Hajymurat Hudaykuliyev, and the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov.

The main goal of the conference is to create a high-level international interactive platform for the regional cyber community to exchange experiences, demonstrate modern solutions, and open up opportunities for new business cooperation.
