Turkmenistan and UNICEF support 10 participants in work plans

On the occasion of Diplomat's Day, ten work plans were signed between the Government of Turkmenistan and UNICEF, confirming a strong partnership and commitment to the country's children and youth.

Cooperation plans were signed by UNICEF with 11 government organizations: the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Office of the Ombudsman, the State Committee on Statistics, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy , the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, as well as the Women's Union of Turkmenistan.

The signed documents provide for the continuation of current activities and the initiation of new strategies for the implementation of child rights in Turkmenistan. Through them, activities will continue to fulfill obligations regarding the protection and implementation of children’s rights provided for in the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The new work plans include cross-cutting themes that demonstrate the country's commitment to inclusiveness and sustainability.
