Turkmenistan and UAE Aim to Strengthen Economic Partnership

Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation in economy, trade, investment, and energy.

The official news agency of the United Arab Emirates reported that Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, discussed the issue with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on Thursday in Abu Dhabi.

The talks included UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohamed Faris Al Mazrouei and Minister of State Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh.

The head of the UAE foreign ministry warmly welcomed the visit of the Turkmen delegation, highlighting its strategic significance for developing bilateral cooperation. During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the importance of the established friendly relations between the two countries and their potential to deepen partnerships in key economic sectors.

During the constructive dialogue, both sides explored ways to activate cooperation at the bilateral level and within international organizations. Participants exchanged views on a wide range of regional and international issues.
