Turkmenistan and Türkiye Discussed Implementation of Contract Projects

The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Nokerguly Atagulyyev, met with the Trade Minister of Türkiye, Ömer Bolat, during the 11th Exhibition of Turkish Export Products held in Ashgabat, where they discussed the implementation of contract projects by Turkish companies, which Ömer Bolat later shared on his social media.

The sides discussed steps to achieve the goal of increasing the volume of bilateral trade to $5 billion and the process of updating the Agreement on Mutual Promotion and Protection of Investments. They paid special attention to the prospects for further strengthening and expanding cooperation.

The Trade Minister of Türkiye noted that the current exhibition, which gathered many Turkish exporting companies, highlights Türkiye's determination to develop economic partnership with Turkmenistan, a friendly and brotherly country.

The exhibition of export goods from the Republic of Türkiye opened on Wednesday at the Expo Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat.The exhibition will also feature a meeting of the Türkiye-Turkmenistan Business Council, organized by the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
