Turkmenistan and Türkiye discussed areas of strategic partnership

National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, within the framework of his visit to Türkiye on March 1, held negotiations in Antalya with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The parties discussed the expansion of comprehensive cooperation on the basis of historically established fraternal ties between the peoples of the two countries.

The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the successful development of Turkmen-Turkish strategic partnership relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and humanitarian-cultural spheres.

Particular attention at the negotiations was paid to bringing bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level, as well as the implementation of joint projects in the energy and transport and communications industries.

The constructive and meaningful dialogue once again demonstrated the commonality of approaches of Turkmenistan and Türkiye to current issues of interaction.
