Turkmenistan and Türkiye Discuss Cooperation in Gas Industry

A meeting of the heads of the Turkmengas State Concern with a delegation of the Turkish company BOTAŞ headed by Director General Abdulvahid Fidani was held in Ashgabat. During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the gas industry, including increasing the export potential of Turkmenistan, were discussed, TDH reports.

The initiatives for the development of the fuel and energy complex proposed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov are aimed at diversifying and strengthening international partnership.

Turkey, as one of the main trade and economic partners of Turkmenistan, plays a key role in this process.In March of this year, important documents were signed strengthening cooperation in the oil and gas industry between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the further development of mutually beneficial partnership in the interests of both peoples.
