An international media forum dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan opened in Ashgabat. The event was organized by the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, reports the MIC of Turkmenistan.
The forum is attended by representatives of specialized structures, television and radio channels, print media, including representatives of about 100 foreign media.Among them are heads and editors-in-chief of news agencies, representatives of foreign media accredited in the country, General Director of the Greater Asia TV channel Alexander Lebedev, heads and representatives of media and television and radio companies of the Russian Federation, Great Britain, Malaysia, Japan, the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Belarus.
The purpose of the forum is to strengthen the international cooperation of Turkmenistan with foreign media. As part of the event, an agreement is expected to be signed between the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography and the Greater Asia TV channel.
At the opening of the forum, Annasahed Kakaev, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, made a speech. He emphasized the importance of media cooperation in covering the achievements of Turkmenistan in various fields.
