Turkmenistan and Switzerland discussed expanding trade

During his visit to Ashgabat, the Swiss Ambassador to Turkmenistan (from his residence in Baku) Thomas Staehli met with the Chairman of the country's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mergen Gurdov.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to expand bilateral trade and economic relations between the countries, reports the press service of the CCIT.

Based on friendly relations between the countries, the parties discussed new approaches to the development of trade and economic relations and issues of mutually beneficial cooperation.

In addition, during the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the possibilities of taking bilateral cooperation to a new level and intensifying relations in the trade and economic sphere.
