The possibility of creating a special working group for the exchange of experience in the field of urban planning was discussed by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Orazmuhammed Charyev and the Minister of Local Self-Government, Rural Affairs and Housing of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Majid bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Khokail.
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the possibilities of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia in the field of housing construction, the use of environmentally friendly building materials in construction, and the introduction of smart technologies.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan provided information about the city of Arkadag under construction based on the concept of a "smart" city.
The Saudi side appreciated the high quality of the infrastructure of the city of Arkadag in accordance with international standards, especially the fact that it was built by the construction companies of Turkmenistan.
