Turkmenistan and Latvia discussed strengthening transport cooperation

The “Turkmen Logistics” Association and the Latvian National Association of Freight Forwarders and Logistics held an online meeting of representatives of the transport industry of Turkmenistan and Latvia, at which strengthening of partnership in the relevant field was discussed, reports the website of the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency.

During the event, the Turkmen side made specific proposals for the transportation of goods from Europe on a turnkey basis.

Latvian companies noted the potential of the Turkmenbashy International Sea Port as a transit point between Asia and Europe, expressing interest in establishing strong partnerships.

Representatives of the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency, Turkmenbashy International Seaport and member companies of the “Turkmen Logistics” Association spoke on behalf of Turkmenistan at the meeting. The Latvian side was represented by employees of ACE Logistics Latvia, BV GRUPA, Vervo and MELON.S.
