Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation

Within the framework of strengthening bilateral cooperation, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan Batyr Rejepov and the Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Sharlapaev.

The parties emphasized the great potential and prospects for the growth of mutually beneficial relations between the two countries, reports the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic department.

The agenda included issues of implementation of the Protocol of the 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakh Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation. Ambassador Rejepov also informed the Kazakh minister about the new city of Arkadag, operating according to the “smart city” concept.

During the constructive dialogue, an agreement was reached on further enhancing cooperation in various areas for the benefit of the peoples of the two friendly states.
