Turkmenistan and Japan are expanding ties in the field of education

At the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a meeting was held between the rector of the university, Jumamurad Gurbangeldyev, and the executive director of the Nippon Foundation, Yuji Mori. The meeting was dedicated to the development of Turkmen-Japanese scientific and educational cooperation, reports the IIR press service.

During the meeting, the rector spoke in detail about the work of the university’s departments, the scientific and educational centers operating at the institute and the experience of cooperation with foreign universities.

Representatives of the parties put forward initiatives to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of education, and also considered some proposals within the framework of cooperation between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the partner of the Nippon Foundation - the JACAFA Foundation.

After the official meeting, Yuji Mori was given a special tour of the institute, during which the guest of honor visited the training studio and library on international relations in Turkish and English.
