Turkmenistan and Italy signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between ports

During the visit of the Turkmen delegation to Rome, a meeting of the heads of transport departments of the two countries took place, during which a Memorandum on cooperation between seaports was signed, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammethan Chakyev held negotiations with the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport of Italy Matteo Salvini. The central topic was the expansion of cooperation in the field of railway and maritime transport.

As a result of the negotiations, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the ports of Turkmenbashy and Naples.
