Turkmenistan and Italy Intend to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Toyly Komekov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Italian Republic, engaged in an online discussion with Annalisa Bisson, Director for International Relations of the Veneto Region, on Friday.

According to the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in Italy, the talks encompassed various facets of bilateral cooperation, focusing on political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian areas.

The discussions highlighted the significance of bilateral visits in their dialogue. Ambassador Komekov underscored the important role of regular high-level contacts in fostering the dynamic growth of relations between the two nations.

Annalisa Bisson praised the presentation of the book "Spiritual World of the Turkmen People" by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, in the Italian language, at the Ca' Sagredo Palace.

She emphasized that the book serves as a gateway for Italian society to explore the rich, centuries-old history, culture, and spiritual essence of the Turkmen people.

In concluding the meeting, both parties expressed their commitment to an active dialogue, aiming to uphold and deepen the bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Veneto region, and exchanged warm wishes.
