Turkmenistan and Iran have restored the truck passage at the Howdan-Bajgiran border checkpoint, IRNA news agency reported last Thursday with reference to the statement of Iranian Foreign Ministry's representative in Khorasan region Mohammad Beheshti.

According to Mohammad Beheshti, in order to further develop trade relations between the two countries, the Turkmen side let 10 Iranian trucks through the Howdan-Bajigiran border crossing.Due to the worldwide restrictions related to COVID-19, the Howdan-Bajigiran border crossing was closed for trucks for three years.
