Turkmenistan and Iran Discuss Exhibition of Turkmen Goods in Gorgan

Chairman of the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) Mergen Gurdov and head of the Joint Iran-Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce Ramazan Bahramini discussed the possibility of holding an exhibition of Turkmen-made goods in Gorgan, Islamic Republic of Iran, in 2025 during their meeting in Ashgabat on Tuesday.

They view the organization of the exhibition as a significant step to increase the presence of Turkmen products in the Iranian market and strengthen cooperation between the business communities of both countries, as reported by the TCCI press service.

Gurdov and Bahramini also addressed issues related to enhancing bilateral trade and economic ties and promoting joint projects.

The meeting participants expressed confidence in successfully implementing the initiative and emphasized the need for further dialogue to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.

From December 16 to 18, 2024, Ashgabat hosted the 16th specialized exhibition and business meeting Iran Agrofood, focused on the development of the agro-industrial complex.
