Turkmenistan and Germany intend to expand trade and economic ties

The issues of expanding trade and economic ties were discussed today in Ashgabat by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Turkmenistan Michael Uwe Bierhoff.

As the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, the diplomats stressed the importance of the joint Turkmen-German Working Group on economic cooperation and discussed the possibilities of developing trade relations between the countries.

In order to expand cooperation in this direction, as well as exchange experience, the parties considered the issues of holding joint business forums and exhibitions.

During the talks, the effective partnership between Turkmenistan and Germany was emphasized both in a bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations, including the United Nations and the European Union, as well as effective interaction in the field of education, science, health care and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
