Turkmenistan and Georgia Discuss High-Level Mutual Visits Arrangements

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia, Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov, and the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, held a meeting on Monday in Tbilisi, Georgia, during which both parties expressed interest in organizing mutual high-level visits.

As reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia, the meeting discussed the current state and prospects of trade and economic relations, development of cooperation in the industrial, transportation, fuel and energy sectors, and cultural and humanitarian fields.

The parties also noted with satisfaction the active growth of Turkmen-Georgian relations and the positive experience of multilateral cooperation within reputable international and regional organizations.

At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed confidence that the traditionally friendly interstate relations and strategic partnership, based on trust, mutual respect, and consideration of each other's interests, would serve as a guarantee for the further strengthening of Turkmen-Georgian cooperation.
