Ashgabat hosted a meeting between the Chairman of the Agency “Turkmenaragatnashyk” (“Turkmensvyaz”) Hajimurat Hudayguliyev with representatives of Thales Alenia Space - Vice President for Export Eric Imbert and Vice President for the Eurasia Region Christoph Lanowski.
During the meeting, the parties discussed new areas for further cooperation and made various business proposals, the press service of the agency informed Turkmenportal.
At the talks, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan and Thales Alenia Space have a successful experience of interaction, in particular, in the creation of the first Turkmen space satellite Türkmen Älem.
One of the topics discussed was the strengthening of cooperation with the Agency “Turkmensvyaz” in the field of cybersecurity.
It was also reported at the meeting that representatives of Thales Alenia Space are expected to participate in the upcoming international exhibition and scientific conference “TurkmenTel-2023”, which will be held in November this year in Turkmenistan.
Representatives of Thales Alenia Space also stressed that they are ready to organize training courses for engineers and operators in Turkmenistan for the rapidly developing space industry in the country.
