Turkmenistan and Cambodia Discuss Organization of Mutual High-Level Visits

Muhammetniyaz Mashalov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Cambodia (residing in Kuala Lumpur), and Tuot Panha, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, held a meeting on Tuesday, during which they emphasized the importance of high-level visits between the countries this year.

The meeting discussed cooperation between the two countries in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia.

The parties also noted that the effective interaction between Turkmenistan and Cambodia has a wide range, covering not only bilateral relations but also cooperation within international organizations.

Earlier, Ambassador Mashalov stated that Turkmenistan intends to be the first country in Central Asia to have direct flights with Cambodia’s new Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport.
