Turkmenistan and Belarus strengthen educational ties under the auspices of UNESCO

On October 31 - November 1, a significant online conference was held between educational institutions of Turkmenistan and Belarus. The event was organized on the initiative of the UNESCO Chair "Languages for Peace, Solidarity and Civic Education" of the Minsk State Linguistic University.

Representatives of the Turkmen UNESCO Club "Languages of the World", operating under the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, took an active part in the conference. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of education, science and culture, reaching a number of important agreements.

This event was the first practical result of the recent visit of the Turkmen delegation to Minsk, where the foundations for the development of bilateral cooperation within the framework of UNESCO programs were laid. This initiative reflects Turkmenistan's desire to expand international educational ties and achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
