Turkmenistan and Armenia discussed expanding trade cooperation

A meeting was held in Yerevan between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan Muhammed Ayazov and the Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia Karen Ivanov. At the meeting, issues of increasing the trade and economic potential of the two countries and increasing trade turnover were discussed.

According to the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission, the vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed readiness to open a trading house of Turkmenistan in Armenia. In addition, the Armenian delegation plans to take part in the exhibition of modern food technologies “Agro-Pak Turkmenistan”, which will be held in Ashgabat in May 2024.

According to K. Ivanov, interest in industrial products from Turkmenistan is growing in Yerevan. The parties expressed their readiness to expand the range of trade turnover.

Issues of transport and logistics infrastructure and the establishment of new logistics routes were also discussed.
