Representatives of the State Concern Turkmengas and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) held a video conference to discuss the status and prospects of cooperation in the gas sector. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The meeting was led by the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies of the United Arab Emirates, Director General of ADNOC Sultan Ahmed Al-Jaber and the management of Türkmengas.
The main topic of the meeting was the development of the Galkynysh gas field in Turkmenistan, as well as ADNOC’s participation in international energy projects implemented by Turkmenistan. The parties considered a wide range of issues related to current and future projects.
Since 2023, ADNOC has been working closely with Türkmengas in accordance with international standards and best practices. During the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue the partnership, focusing on strengthening the legal framework and considering the economic and technological aspects of cooperation.
Both sides expressed confidence in the further successful development of joint projects and achieving new heights in the gas sector.
