Turkmenistan Airlines Launches Cargo Route to China's Greater Bay Area

Turkmenistan Airlines has begun cargo flights to Shenzhen, China, the CGTN news agency reported on Monday.

The cargo flight from Shenzhen to Ashgabat is the first direct international cargo route between the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and Turkmenistan.

The first cargo plane departed from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport on July 23, carrying a load of electronic products, clothing, and other goods.

Turkmenistan Airlines will operate Airbus 330-200P2F cargo planes to Shenzhen once a week.

The new cargo route is the first Central Asian route from Shenzhen, and it will contribute to promoting trade between China and Central Asian countries.
