As part of the active development of international cooperation in the energy sector, Turkmenistan held regular meetings with representatives of the South Korean company Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd, reports TDH.
The leaders of the State Concern Turkmengas and the Hyundai Engineering delegation, headed by Senior Vice President Jung Song Yong, discussed the current state and prospects for the development of the fourth phase of the Galkynysh field.
The parties paid special attention to the legal and organizational aspects of the project.Representatives of Hyundai Engineering noted that participation in the development of the Galkynysh field will allow the company to use its potential in implementing energy projects and enrich international experience with new knowledge and practice.
The need to implement the agreements reached during mutual visits at the highest state level in 2023-2024 was also emphasized.
The negotiations was held in an atmosphere of friendship and constructivism, demonstrating the high interest of foreign companies in working in the energy sector of Turkmenistan. The parties agreed to continue regular meetings in accordance with previously agreed schedules.
