Turkmendeňizderýaýollary and Vitol Bahrain Discuss Investment Cooperation

Representatives of Turkmendeňizderýaýollary (Turkmen Maritime and River Transport) Agency and oil trading company Vitol Bahrain E.C. (Kingdom of Bahrain) held online meeting on March 10 to discuss cooperation in ship repair and investment, Turkmendeňizderýaýollary Agency reported on Tuesday.

The sides noted that Turkmen ships engaged in international voyages, transporting oil and oil products are regularly repaired in accordance with the requirements of International Classification Society.

According to the report, Maritime Trade Fleet and Vitol Bahrain E.C has been keeping close cooperation since 2019. Crude oil and oil products of the Bahraini company are transported in international voyages by Turkmen tankers Hazar, Alaja, Kenar, Etrek, Jeyhun and Sumbar.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue developing bilateral cooperation and to carry out appropriate tasks to implement the planned tasks.
