Turkmenbashi City to Build Additional Housing For 300 Families

Five four-story residential buildings for workers of the transport and communications complex of Turkmenistan will be built in Turkmenbashi city, the coastal city in the country’s western province of Balkan. The houses are designed to accommodate 300 families.

Mammethan Chakiyev, the General Director of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, briefed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the planned construction of the housing during the online cabinet meeting on Thursday.

Chakiyev added that Ynamly Hyzmatdaşlar company was selected to construct the residential buildings as a result of a tender held for this purpose.

Following the briefing, President Berdimuhamedov said further improvement of social and living conditions of the people in towns and villages, increasing the welfare of the population is the main objective of the implementation of national programs and strategies.

The Head of State then addressed a number of instructions regarding the construction of the housing to the head of the Agency.

The Government meeting also considered other important state issues and made appropriate decisions to address them.
